Family beach vacation #6 is in the memory books. We had lovely time this year, as always. We continued with some old traditions but sought out new places/activities as well. We had bike riders, walkers, runners and puzzle workers, game players, concert goers, food makers and beverage drinkers :-) There was plenty of entertainment for all; primarily in the form of each other.
The skim board competition was right near our entrance to the beach this year. Luke participated in the practice area, emulating the more advanced boarders. Adrienne also took quite a few glides and even learned the key to the perfect run from a passerby. And for her part, Coco looked super cute standing on the skim boards.
We kept Planet Ice in business again this year. Where would their business be without us? Violet and Alex consumed quite a bit of sand with their ices. We had lunch on the beach most days, and many fun dinners.
We also perfected our tie-dye shirt making this year. G-ma and Luke won both first and second place. Apparently the trick is to completely saturate your t-shirt with dye. They are now tasked with coming up with next year's project.
Now that it's taken me 2 months to jot down a few thoughts, the countdown to next year is only 10 months!
