Piano Recital 2019

We survived the piano recital experience of 2019 - yay!  The kids played very well.  We love when they play modern songs.  Luke played Demons by Imagine Dragons and Adrienne played the theme song to Friends.  They played other songs as well but these were the best ones.  As usual, the also performed a duet.  They did manage to end the song on the same beat - yay!  Coco was a bit of handful in the audience...laying down, sitting backwards, using half a bottle of lip gloss in 2 minutes.  She also kept doing the two finger pointing motion from her eyes to the performers.  In short, she acted like a 5 year old at a piano recital.  Lucky for Ade and Luke, Uncle Nick was in town and was able to attend the recital.  Afterward we all went out for dinner and also a stop at a local brew pub.  The kids played cornhole amidst the the young 20s hipster crowd.  Then we all headed back to our house where a game of yard lacrosse broke out.  Uncle Nick revived his old role as goalie and everyone was sweating in dress clothes by the end of the evening.  Success!
