Listening to the morning camp instructions |
Schools out and the kids have 10 full weeks of summer. This week Adrienne attended the Nazareth College girls lacrosse camp, which she loved, naturally. She did the full-day camp instead of half-day camp this year. It didn't even faze her that she didn't know anyone going to this camp. She's so outgoing that she made a little group a friends that she looks forward to seeing everyday. Ade seems to most enjoy the different games they play, the dining hall, the movies, and the counselors.

ready for a pass |
Luke went to Mimi's from Sunday to Wednesday. He got to drive the golf cart, swim, go up to the cabin, play miniature golf, get ice cream, and wait in the waiting room for his new baby cousin to arrive. Matt and I discovered that having 2 children at home is way easier than the "organized" chaos of three. Not that it's necessarily easier with Luke not being there, just that 2 is a lot different than three. I think it's because the 1:1 ratio provides enough attention for each kid that they are not having to vie for attention.
And for her part, Coco still went to "school" as normal but since it is the last week she's in this class, they got to do a lot of extra fun things. She particularly like the indoor picnic. It was very exciting to eat lunch on a blanket on the floor.
